Our weed control program includes 6 different treatments. Along with pre and post-emergent applications, we also include fertilizer and pest control to thoroughly protect your lawn all year.


Our weed control treatment schedule typically looks like this, but weather may slightly alter:

 March / April

The first treatment of the year starts off with a pre-emergent herbicide. As your grass emerges from winter dormancy and gears up for the growing season, so do your weeds! This first treatment will prevent any weeds from sprouting through the surface of your soil.

April / May

During our second visit, we will apply a post-emergent weed control treatment to eradicate any weeds that may have slipped through our pre-emergent application. Then, our crew will apply the first fertilizer treatment of the year to give your grass the nutrients it needs to prepare for the summer heat.

June / Mid-July

At this point of the year, it is crucial to continue to prepare your cool-season grass for the summer. We will apply another organic fertilizer treatment for an extra boost of nutrients.

Mid-July / August

Another round of fertilizer will be applied at this time. We will also spray your lawn with our pest control product to help eliminate gnats, mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and more.

September / October

The fall season is when we apply the last weed control treatment. This is another post-emergent application to get rid of any stubborn weeds as your grass heads into winter dormancy. Then, we will apply another round of fertilizer.

Early-Mid November

To end the season, our crew will apply a slow-release fertilizer to take your lawn into the winter season. This will feed your lawn throughout the next couple of months to ensure that it always has what it needs to stay strong under the snow. This last fertilizer treatment is crucial to achieving a healthy, lush lawn come springtime.

    No, you do not need to be there when we cut your grass. However, we recommend that you be available to answer any questions and ensure that we achieve the desired result.

  • What do you do with the grass clippings?

    Generally, we will mulch the clippings up on your lawn. Grass clippings provide a valuable source of nutrients for your soil. If you request clippings to be bagged, you can add that service on for an additional fee.

  • Do you offer same-day service?

    If we have room on our schedule and you have agreed to our terms, we will try to accommodate same day requests but cannot guarantee this. However, we recommend setting a program up in advance to guarantee service.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

  • Do you clean up yard debris before your mow?

    We will do a visual inspection of our work area prior to starting. Within reason we will remove things like limbs/branches. We do ask that you keep your yard clear of personal items to prevent damage to your property or our equipment. Dog feces, although we appreciate cleaned up, understand the struggle, and will mow over and mulch it into your yard.

  • What kind of payments do you accept?

    We currently accept, cash, check, and all major credit cards.  Payments are due when the job is complete.  Large projects may require a down payment prior to booking.

  • Do you trim around trees, gardens, decks, and other structures?

    Yes. We bring a wide variety of tools to ensure a perfectly groomed lawn from the curb to the door. Our lawn mowing pros attend to every detail and work carefully to ensure exceptional results.
